The Corporate Years
Both of us began our careers as engineers — Stewart as a Failure Analysis Engineer at Intel Penang, Sook Woon at Intel before moving to Maxis as an Assistant Manager. Stable salaries. Comfortable lives. But something was missing.
2001
The Leap
Stewart joined Prudential. Not because it was safe — it wasn't. Not because of an incentive scheme. But because a mentor named Lim Chee Cheng showed us something different was possible. We downgraded to one car. We trusted the process. We "bodoh bodoh ikut" — and it changed everything.
2005
Sook Woon Joins. The Team Doubles.
Sook Woon left Maxis — including a RM100,000 ESOS she walked away from without looking back. She achieved Star Club in her first year. MDRT followed. Then again. And again. The front court player had found her court.
2005
Unit Manager. The Team Takes Shape.
Stewart was promoted to Unit Manager. Sook Woon joined Prudential the same year. Two engineers, one shared vision. Both growing within the Dream Team that Chee Cheng built — quietly, deliberately, the way all lasting things grow.
2008 — 2012
Agency Manager. Building the Foundation.
Stewart was promoted to Agency Manager. Sook Woon achieving MDRT year after year. Star Club trips to Japan, Rome, Istanbul, Switzerland, San Francisco, London, Croatia, Portugal and beyond. A team built quietly, consistently, on genuine care for people.
2013
Million Dollar Agency.
Stewart's agency achieved Million Dollar status. Not a milestone chased — a consequence of doing things right, year after year. The system Chee Cheng planted was now fully bearing fruit.
2018
2 Million Dollar Agency.
The agency doubled. Stewart's team crossed the 2 Million Dollar mark. A quiet testament to what happens when the right people are developed with patience, structure, and genuine belief in their potential.
2019
Legacy. A Homegrown Agency Manager is Born.
After hitting 2 Million Dollar, Stewart gave birth to his first homegrown Agency Manager — See Jen Liang — who achieved his own Million Dollar Agency the same year. The greatest measure of a leader is not what they achieve. It's what they produce. Three generations: Chee Cheng → Stewart → See Jen Liang.
2022 — 2024
Family First. Children's Education Years.
We chose family over everything. Stewart accompanied the children through their studies in Melbourne — doing whatever was needed, without complaint, without ego. Sook Woon held the agency together in Malaysia, achieving MDRT year after year and never missing a beat. Heroes and angels work in pairs.
2025 — Now
The Comeback. The Next Chapter.
